The Best Places to Work in Virginia survey and award program, designed by Virginia Business and Best Companies Group, identifies, recognizes, and honors the best places of employment in Virginia that benefit the state’s economy, work force, and businesses.
The Best Places to Work in Virginia list consists of a total of 80 companies, divided into three groups by size. Sevatec is named as one of the best places to work in Virginia in the mid-sized category. To be considered, organizations from across the state entered a two-part survey process. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience in eight core focus areas: Leadership and Planning, Corporate Culture and Communications, Role Satisfaction, Work Environment, Relationship with Supervisor, Training and Development, Pay and Benefits, and Overall Engagement. The combined scores determined the top organizations and the final ranking.
