Sevatec Named 2016 GovStar Awards Finalist

Award Recognizes Government Contractors that support the safety and well-being of veterans post war and during deployment

Fairfax, Virginia, October 12, 2016: Sevatec is pleased to announce that the company has been selected as one of Washington SmartCEO’s 2016 GovStar Awards finalists. Sevatec was named one of two finalists for the Star Warfighter Award which spotlights those government contractors that support the safety and well-being of individuals serving in the armed forces post war and during deployment.

The GovStar Awards program, now in its seventh season, honors local government contractors for their technology, innovation, growth, workplace environment, veteran support, and contributions to the industry and marketplace. An independent committee of local business leaders selects finalists each year, from which winners are chosen based on the quality of nominations submitted. The awards ceremony will be held on November 21, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, Virginia. As part of the nomination, Sevatec President and CEO, Balan Ayyar, will be profiled in the November/December issue of SmartCEO magazine.
