Fairfax, Virginia, June 5, 2014: Sevatec, Inc. (Sevatec) announced that it was recently awarded two task orders valued at over $6 million from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to provide strategic marketing, technology-enabled training, and instructional systems design support. The awards are part of the National Highway Institute (NHI) Support Services contract, a multiple award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle competitively awarded to Sevatec in September 2013.

The National Highway Institute, the training and education arm of the FHWA, provides leadership and resources to guide the development and delivery of transportation-related training to improve the performance of the transportation industry. Since 2003, FHWA has utilized the NHI Support Services contract vehicle to support the Office of Technical Services (OTS), which comprises the NHI, the Technology Partnership Programs (TPP), and the Knowledge Application Team (KAT). Sevatec has been performing similar work as NHI’s partner for more than five years, having worked on this program’s predecessor contract since 2008.
