Serving the DMV Region

Committed to Community

Service is at the heart of what we do. Our commitment to community involvement extends far beyond the office walls. We’re inspired to serve in our local communities, helping others who need a hand. We maintain numerous community service programs continuing throughout the year.

Why We Serve

As we’ve shared, “Seva” means “Serving a Greater Purpose.” We certainly do that every day, directly with the exceptional government missions we serve – all aimed at protecting and improving the lives of Americans. We also extend our Seva Spirit by embracing our corporate social responsibility to serve and advocate for those who need it the most through scholarships, partnering with local organizations committed to racial injustice, and advocacy efforts.

Since our inception, community service, volunteering, and financial giving has remained essential to defining our corporate culture. As we’ve matured and grown as a firm, so has our commitment to making a difference in our communities. Our employees want to be part of an organization who not only offers great opportunities and challenging work, but an organization that prioritizes corporate social responsibility as a core value.

Our commitment to community involvement extends far beyond the office walls. In addition to our continued financial and volunteer support to dozens of non-profit organizations, in 2016, we launched an ambitious initiative to combat the effects of poverty in our nation’s capital through serving free meals to at-risk children and veterans. SevaTruck Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing hunger in our communities, is a food truck that serves hot, nutritionally-balanced vegetarian meals to children and veterans affected by food insecurity. Together, in partnership with local area food banks, schools, and nonprofit organizations, SevaTruck has served more than 100,000 meals to at-risk communities. Since COVID-19, we have increased our service to 300-500 hot meals Monday – Friday, helping support the distribution of nutritious food to those most impacted by the pandemic.  To learn more, visit

Sevatec has donated over $1M to worthy causes and has been recognized as the top most philanthropic mid-tier GovCon company in the Washington D.C. area for the past 5 years by the Washington Business Journal.

Every month, Sevatec hosts “Shift Up Wednesday.” For a small charitable donation from employees and the company, we participate in office-wide events to raise money for causes our employees care about. Some of the organizations we’ve supported include:
